The First Peoples Innovation Centre (FPIC) proudly celebrates the completion of the 14th FabLab Onaki cohort, which began on September 8.

During the closing event, our Executive Director, Jacques Dalton, highlighted the dedication, creativity, and outstanding work of the participants throughout the program.

As part of the event, participants also showcased their creations — objects they designed and fabricated during the program — demonstrating the skills they acquired and their creativity.

Over the course of the program, participants developed skills in digital fabrication and creative technologies, including 3D printing, laser engraving and cutting, CNC milling, vinyl cutting, textile design, and digital creation. Through these experiences, they transformed their ideas into tangible projects inspired by their cultures, stories, and identities.

👏 Congratulations to all participants on this great achievement!

This program is delivered with the support of Cégep de l’Outaouais. FPIC would like to thank its Executive Director, Steve Brabant, for his valuable support of this initiative.

Meegwetch, thank you, and congratulations to the 14th cohort!
