Paid training to learn, create, and explore

From August 31, 2026, to February 26, 2027, FabLab ONAKI is offering a 6-month paid training program, including a 2-month internship.

Training

  • Beginner-friendly, instructor-led sessions with step-by-step guidance and hands-on activities.
  • Interactive discussions and Q&A sessions to answer questions and provide additional support.
  • Easy-to-use learning materials and resources designed to accommodate different learning styles.

FabLab ONAKI in Gatineau!

Participants will have the opportunity to explore a variety of digital fabrication technologies:

✅ 3D printing;

✅ laser engraving and cutting;

✅ CNC machining;

✅ digital design and fabrication software;

✅ and many other innovative technologies.

This hands-on training program is designed to help participants develop new skills, spark creativity, and open the door to new opportunities in education, employment, or entrepreneurship.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be an Indigenous person between 16 and 30 years old
  • Be unemployed and not currently enrolled in school
  • Be available Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
