The First Peoples Innovation Centre proudly marks the National Indigenous Peoples Day.
This year more than ever, we honor the resilience, determination and vision of the future for First Nations, Inuit and Métis.
Throughout history, more than one pandemic has decimated indigenous peoples and almost wiped them out. Despite many adversities, the First Peoples were able to build combative societies and perpetuate a unique heritage which has its place in the 21st century.
At the time of the summer solstice, the First Peoples Innovation Centre cannot celebrate, as it would like, the wealth of all these peoples. Its festivities are postponed to the winter solstice.
