On March 25, 2017, the Kisis Circle worked with the Québec City team of the Festival international du film ethnographique du Québec to organize an Indigenous day for Rendez-vous FIFEQ 2017. The event was held at Théâtre La Bordée with a packed house.

One of the highlights of summer 2017 was the organization of the Place des Premiers Peuples for Canada 150. Created in collaboration with the non-profit Limoilou en Vrac for their Rendez-vous Limoilou 2017 event, the Place des Premiers Peuples was installed at the Cartier-Brébeuf National Historic Site from August 26 to 27, 2017.

The Kisis Circle also worked with partners to organize another major event in summer 2017, entitled KWE! Meet with Indigenous Peoples, which ran from September 1 to 3 at the Place de l’Assemblée-Nationale. In particular, the Kisis Circle was in charge of coordinating the creation of a collective painted work, made by two artists in collaboration with 10 Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth.

Finally, the Kisis Circle was asked to organize the screening of some short films in Wendake for Wapikoni Mobile’s cross-Canada tour, Cinema on Wheels. This screening took place on September 18, 2017, at the Centre de développement de formation et de la main d’œuvre huron-wendat.
