SOCIOVOCATIONAL INTEGRATION OF OUTAOUAIS INDIGENOUS WOMEN

The First Peoples Innovation Centre works to provide Indigenous women with a bridge to access the labour market or vocational training. The first phase of the project, from October 2014 to October 2015, helped form a network of interested partners to support access to employment or training for Indigenous women. These partners included the Conférence régionale des élus de l’Outaouais, Option Femmes Emploi, SITO and the Native Women’s Association of Canada.
