THE QUÉBEC CITY KISIS CIRCLE

On February 9, 2016, the Kisis Circle organized a screening of the film Le Dep, the first feature film by Innu director Sonia Bonspille Boileau. The screening took place at Québec City’s Musée de la civilisation.

On March 21, 2016, the FPIC organized another event on Indigenous people and human rights (“Autochtones et droits de la personne”), which was a big hit. It was a collaboration with Wapikoni Mobile and the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse (CDPDJ) for the 40th commemoration of Quebec’s Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms and for the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

For the third consecutive year, the Québec City Kisis Circle organized the launch of Wapikoni’s annual collection of short films at Québec City’s Musée de la civilisation. This hugely popular event packed the Roland‑Arpin auditorium on November 29, 2016.
